Résumé en anglais :

It is the story of a husband and wife who wanted to have a child. The child was adopted by a woman, a very old, mean lady. The witch locked Raiponce in a big tower, so she wouldn't run away. The prince heard singing in the tower, he called and told Raiponce to unroll his hair because the prince thought the princess was beautiful, so he wanted to join her. He went up into the tower and down with her and they went into the forest. Afterwards, the prince left with the princess to protect her from the witch. As the prince had saved Raiponce, she fell in love with him. They lived long years of happiness.
