Dear Mrs. Susie Lewis Lynn, Dear Mr. Glenn Eichler,

I am writing to tell you about your "Daria" series that you have done and that I like very much. I love your American animated TV series of 65 episodes. I wanted to tell you that despite being broadcast between 1997 and 2002 on the MTV network, and well before my birth, for me, it is still relevant. A true cult series!

"Daria" is a series that I watched a year ago and I liked the elements of the story. I also enjoyed the drawings as well as the story which is rather simple, realistic and great. A very ironic series, with sarcastic and critical humor that makes me laugh, including the main subject and the daily life of teenager.

In your superb series, I really enjoyed the main character Daria Morgendorffer, the 17-year-old girl considered "anti-heroine," but also her younger sister, 14-year-old Quinn Morgendorffer. I preferred these two characters, because they have opposite characters and a different physique despite their familiar connection. Daria is a teenager with long brown hair. She is intelligent, cultured, likes to read, jaded, pizza fan, and tries to survive the hell of high school in the United States. Moreover, she does not behave like any teenager of her age: she does not really smile and is not very sociable, she is of a misanthropic nature. In contrast, his sister, who has beautiful long red hair, is very shallow and popular. In addition, she is frivolous and devotes all her energy to choosing her outfits with her friends from the Fashion Club. Very coquettish, she often goes to appointments with boys.

But the event that surprised me most, dear creators, happened during season 5, which is something I did not expect. In this season, Daria fell in love with student Thomas Sloane Jr who was Jane Lane 's best friend and only friend. Daria has fallen in love with this boy despite the fact that she despises others, and that she takes a down-to-earth approach and is often negative about the way that surrounds her and about life in general. It had amazed me so much! I wish to tell you that Daria is an original character, since she does not possess any of the usual characteristics of a heroine. I will call it anti-heroine instead. Indeed, it has several flaws because its behavior and behavior do not correspond to the ideal being.

I am so glad that MTV Studios has developed since 2018, the "Reboot" of your famous series, under the title of Daria and Jodie.

I would like to say that I am very happy to write to you. I do it to thank you, to share my opinion on your series, which was a real success.

  • Dear Mrs. Susie Lewis Lynn, Dear Mr. Glenn Eichler,

I am writing to tell you about "Daria", the series you produced and that I liked very much. I’m keen on your American animated TV series of 65 episodes. Thus, I wanted to tell you that, despite being broadcasted between 1997 and 2002 on the MTV network, and well before my birth, it stays, to me, still relevant. A true cult series !

"Daria" is a series I watched a year ago and I liked the elements of the story. I also enjoyed the drawings as well as the story which is rather simple, realistic and interesting. A very ironical series, with sarcastic and critical humor that made me laugh, including the main subject and the daily life of teenager.

In your superb series, I really enjoyed the main character Daria Morgendorffer, the 17-year-old girl considered "anti-heroine," but also her younger sister, Quinn Morgendorffer who is 14. These two characters were my favourite ones because of they opposite physics and personalities despite the fact that they come from the same family. Daria is a teenager with long brown hair. She is intelligent, cultured, a bit jaded. She likes to read, is found of pizzas, and tries to survive from her hell of high school in the United States. Moreover, she does not behave like any teenager of her age : she does not really smile and is not very sociable, she is of a misanthropic nature. Contrary to her, her sister, has beautiful long red hair, is very shallow and popular. In addition, she is frivolous and devotes all her energy to choosing her outfits with her friends from the Fashion Club. Very coquettish, she often goes on dates with boys.

But the event that surprised me most, dear creators, happened during fifth season, which is something I did not expect at all. In this season, Daria falls in love with Thomas Sloane Jr, a student who was Jane Lane 's best and only friend. Daria has fallen in love with this boy even if she despises others, takes a down-to-earth approach and is often negative about the things that surrounds her and about life in general. I’d rather call her an anti-heroine by the way. Indeed, she has several flaws because her behavior does not correspond to the ideal traditional heroine.
