10 x = 10

x = 1

12 - a = 18 - 3 a

- a +  3a = 18 - 12

2 a = 6

a = 3

- t - 4 = 8 + 7 t

- t - 7 t = 8 + 4

- 8 t = 12

t = - 12/8 = - 3/ 2
